"Movies are probably one of the best media tool used to make us learn, have inspirations and be sparked on something based on the story. A lot of movies about fine arts, dance, theatre, musical have already exist. But why not movie about Design in specific? We believe that us, as designers have our own important scenes especially about the process of making Design. Unfortunately, still some people does not know the existence of Designing as a beautiful career and don't consider Design as a serious business, yet. Therefore, we are aiming for those young creatives who are passionate about Design to come and join us and submit their videos about Design! Remember, we are not film makers, we are designers. " -Chikara The idea of the project was to create a system, that are related to young people and creativity. Therefore, I have designed a system of film making about Design focusing on Java, Indonesia. Watching movies have become a huge trend and also it is not very expensive to go to the theatre in Indonesia. So here it is, the trailer for Java Design Film System Project. This is a sample video that I made of how the result would look like in the end of the system. Although this is just a trailer version, I would like to create an official film about design one day and hopefully it can inspire the others.I would like to thank all my friends who have helped me by participating in this trailer sample.
